Cravebox Dog Lovers II Box Review

Hey Everybody!

I just received my Cravebox in the mail, this one is called the "Dog Lovers II."

This particular box cost me $10.

True Chews Chicken Jerky Fillets
Retail Value: $4.25

Sentry Calming Collar for Dogs
Retail Value: $12

UPDATE: When I first saw this in my box, I really didn't think that it was going to work. I still gave it a try though and I put it on my 6 month old Yellow Labrador. He gets excited about everything and sometimes I just wish that he would calm down so that I can finish some homework. I don't think that it worked REALLY well, but I definitely noticed a little bit of difference. He calmed down a little bit with the collar on, it just didn't make a huge difference in his hyper level.

"In a Dog's Heart" book by Jennifer Arnold
Retail Value: $15

The Honest Kitchen Dehydrated Whole Food for Dogs in the flavor "Beef"
Plus, a coupon for $3.50 off my next purchase from their company.
Retail Value: $9

UPDATE: This is what the Honest Kitchen dehydrated food looked like... I followed all of the instructions. There was 1 cup of food in the box so I added 1 1/2 cups of water. Then the box said to wait 5 minutes and stir it, but this is what it looked like. This is actually what it looked like after letting it sit for 20 minutes (I was hoping that if I let it sit then the food would soak up more, but it didn't at all). The box made it seem like there was supposed to be big chucks of beef and dog food after it soaked. It just ended up looking like grass mush. I did let my dogs have it and they had no idea what to do with it. They ate it but it didn't seem like they thoroughly enjoyed it or anything. Eh, I wouldn't buy this stuff again.

Bissell Stomp 'N Go Pad
Retail Value: $1.54

Total value of the box: $66.54

The value of this box was WAY over what I spent for it! I am pretty pleased with this box, hopefully my dogs like their treats as much as I do! Don't forget to check back on my posts because I always update them and let you all know how I liked each item.

  1. The Honest Kitchen looks almost like it's supposed to look (you put a little too much water, weird I know). BUT if your dog will eat it and you can absorb the cost and are looking for a dog food it is worth it. Our dog Blue eats THK and has for almost three years and it's changed her life. We feed THK Keen. It's a human grade food, but it will change how your dog looks and behaves. Blue is a different dog eating THK. She is happier and healthier. She doesn't shed, she sleeps better and she maintains her personality. It's magical :)

    1. The samples are off (in my opinion) and need less water. To bulk it up a little you could have added some plain applesauce or plain pumpkin (just apples and water or pumpkin puree, no spices or preservatives). Blue loves both of those and they are excellent for dogs. THK Keen is way cheaper than Love and when it's on sale sometimes it's less expensive than the Big Name Kibbles. Blue eats 3/4 cup Keen with 3/8 to 3/4 cup (depending on the weather) super hot water and a large spoon of applesauce twice each day. She weighs 72 pounds.
