La Bella Subscription Box March 2013 Review

Hey Everyone!

I just received my very first La Bella Box for March 2013 and I was so excited to see it sitting in my mailbox!

Cost: $19/month

Each box comes with 4-5 boutique products from small businesses all around the United States.

I was so happy to see that this box comes with a description list! If I really like any of the products I know how much a full-size costs too :)

C2 Coffee in "Sumatra"
Retail Value: $1.88

Retail Value: $2.30

These are so cute! I love how half is dipped in chocolate and they are in the shape of a heart :)

UPDATE: Oh my gosh, these tasted absolutely delicious! I know that they were terrible for my diet but seriously, I could have ate 10 more of these. I was surprised at how soft they were too. I may have to buy these as a gift for my dad, I know how much he would like these.

Bonnie Body Bath "Rosemary Mint Revitalizing Lip Balm"
Retail Value: $4.50

UPDATE: I'm really enjoying this lip balm. The smell was good but not overpowering, and it keeps my lips really soft. I think that it's just as good as any other lip balm that I have bought at the drug store.

Joe Jacket Coffee Sleeve
Retail Value: $9.95

This is too cute! I don't have one of these yet but I am so glad that it came in my box. It even came in my favorite color and I love the hounds tooth print underneath.

Total Value of the box: $18.63

This box is amazing! I can't wait to see what next month's box has in store for me :) I am a huge supporter of small businesses so this box is absolutely perfect for me! I will update this post as I use each item and let you all know how well I liked them.

Disclaimer: La Bella Box did not contact or pay me to do this review in any way.

  1. I got my April box and was so unhappy with it. It had 2 pieces of candy, a sample of a face mask and a couple of barrettes that came to a total of only about $7. $7 for a box that costs $19 a month. Absolutely bad value. Kinda pathetic really. I will be canceling this one.

  2. I've gotten the last 3 months' worth of boxes and they have all been worth less than $10 a month. I saw people were complaining on their Facebook page about the cheapskate boxes for $19. La Bella's response is that "their goal is to promote small businesses". That's all good, but a customer doesn't share that goal and deserves their money's worth. Canceled cuz they aren't worth it with all the other boxes out there that do the same thing and you get your money's worth.

Also, I noticed that they hid other people's comments now where you could see them previously. That's not right if you ask me. I am guessing they are getting a lot of complaints and don't want other customers to see them. That's seems shady in my opinion.
