Conscious Box Subscription April 2013 Review + Coupon Code

Hey Everyone!

I love getting eco-friendly products! They always make me feel better about buying them. That's why I subscribed to Conscious Box. For those of you who are not familiar with Conscious Box, it is a monthly subscription box, "Inside, you'll find incredible products that help you lighten your carbon footprint and better show your love for Mother Earth. From healthy, sustainable snacks to ultra-conscious home products, the April Box will introduce you exciting exciting new things in the world of green!"

Cost: $19.95/month

Use the coupon code "GETAWAYFREE" to receive your first Conscious Box for free! You only pay $7.95 for shipping :)

They even have a vegan and gluten-free option now for those of you who would prefer one of those! I just get the classic box for now, but I may end up switching it eventually.

Value: $0.52

I just wanted to note that there was actually 2 of these packets in the box, I didn't realize that until after I took the picture though. I have received these before in a KlutchClub box before though (Click here to see my past KlutchClub reviews). I think that the packaging is so cute, it looks like fish oil that comes in a ketchup packet. I don't know if any of you guys take fish oil pills on a regular basis, but all of the ones that I have seen look like huge pills. I don't usually take fish oil, but if I did I would rather eat these every day rather than a pill. Plus you can mix this in with something, like a smoothie!

Value: $7

If you guys read any of my other posts, than you know exactly how much I love chapstick. This lip balm is all natural and gluten free! Of course I had to try it out right away, and yes, it passed my lip balm test. This will end up in my purse soon and more than likely it will be gone within the next 2 months.

Value: $0.50

I can honestly say that I have never taken Whey powder before. I've heard of it, I've just never tried it before. I'm not sure if this would taste better as a drink itself or mixing it in with something (like pancakes)? I bet it would taste good either way. If you don't know what Whey powder is supposed to do, it is supposed to help you gain more muscle. I am trying to tone up my muscles right now so I could definitely use some of this!

Value: $0.20

No parabens, gluten-free and the fragrance is all natural. I already used this wipe and I was really impressed by it. I use facial wipes after a workout so that my face can feel clean again and this wipe definitely passed my test. It smelled really good and removed all residue from my face (including makeup that I sweated off).

Value: $3.40

I truly had no idea what this stuff was when I first looked at the bottle. I mean, I even thought that it was plant food! As it turns out, it is a powdered vitamin with a lot of good reviews. It supports blood sugar, detoxification, the immune system, liver, kidneys, blood, bones, colon, regularity, circulation and longevity. Looks like this stuff is about to turn into a daily occurence for me!

Value: $1

I am really interested in finding out how this tastes and what exactly is inside of it. From what I saw of the reviews it had pretty high ratings too. It is supposed to be packed full of energy.

TotLogic Natural Body Lotion - Phthalate Free, Paraben Free, Formaldehyde Free, DEA & PEG Free
Value: $0.42

This is actually a lotion that is safe for babies and children. I don't have any children though so I may not use it. If you are looking for a lotion for your child, this one is all natural and a light scent.

QSpeed CoQ10 Fast-Melt Tablets 100mg, 40 tablets
Value: $1

I have received this item before, in a Bulu Box (Click here to see my past Bulu Box reviews.). I have tried it before and I thought that it actually tasted really good. It is supposed to support heart health and support exercise performance. I took it before I went to the gym but I didn't see much of a difference in myself. It still tasted really good though!

Value: $1

Here is another item that I have never heard of, yet it is supposed to have amazing health benefits. I believe that it is supposed to be like an all-natural vitamin, if not better than vitamins. I found one review on the internet that said it was a really good post-workout recovery.

NurturMe All-Natural Baby Food, Plump Peas, 8-Count Pouches (Pack of 3)
Value: $1.10

I won't be able to use this item because I do not have any children. If any of my readers do have children and would like to try this out, I'd be happy to send it to you! Just leave a comment or send me an e-mail :) There is no preservatives, sugar, salt or artificial-colors.

Value: $0.40

I'm think that this would get me about one, maybe 2 loads of laundry. This is mainly for people with strong sensitivities to frangrances. I'm always up for trying out new products!

Celestial Seasonings Fruit Tea Sampler (5 Flavors), 18-Count Tea Bags (Pack of 6)
Value: $0.18

I've had this brand of tea before, but not in Blackberry Pomegranate. I think that the flavor that I tried was just their regular green tea and I didn't really like it too much. It didn't taste terrible, but I've had better. This flavor does contain caffeine in it so I'll have to try it out in the morning or early afternoon.

GoGo Squeez appleapple, Applesauce on the Go, 3.2-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 48)
Value: $0.70

I'm pretty sure that this is another item that was meant for kids, but I don't really care. I already know that I'll try it out because it is just applesauce, right? I love applesauce so I'm sure that it tastes good.

Total Value of the Box: $17.42

Conscious Box always seems to do a good job with me, they usually send me products that I really end up liking. There is one thing that kind of annoys me about it though. I wish that they would send out bigger items. I like being able to try out a lot of new products and all, but how am I supposed to know if I really like something when I can only get one use out of it? Either way, I am still really happy with it all.

I hope that you all get a chance to check out the new Facebook page that I made for the blog! I put a link to the Facebook page, my Twitter and YouTube Channel on the upper right hand side of my blog so go ahead and check all of those out!

Did you get a Conscious Box? What did you think of it? If you aren't subscribed to it, go ahead and try it out with the link and coupon code that I put above!

    1. I know, right! I would like more than one use of some things. The free month would be totally worth it if you wanted to try it out!
