Yay!! My Birchbox for June came in yesterday :) I've been looking at everybody else's unboxing posts all week and I have been anxiously been waiting for mine to come in. I've seen a lot of other posts about what other people got in their box, so I was hoping that I would get a different selection than what I saw, and I did! For those of you who are unfamiliar with Birchbox, it is a monthly subscription service that sends out leading beauty, lifestyle and grooming products.

Cost: $10/month

There is a Birchbox Man subscription for those of you who want give one to a special man in your life!

The theme of this month was "Wanderlust". I thought that it was really funny when I saw the theme of this box. Just yesterday, my friend told me that I had Wanderlust. I have loved to travel my whole life and I am always planning a trip. Currently, I am planning a trip to Jamaica and I am so excited! :)

These are cute little postcards that came with the box. They each have a location of a Birchbox office on them. I thought that they were very cute!

Value: $26.55

Wow, this product is worth over 2x the amount that I paid for the whole box. I've never heard of Mirenesse before but I am really excited to try this out! There are 2 different ways to wear this; on your lips or on your cheeks. I can't see myself wearing this as blush because that is a very bright red and I'm not sure how much it would match my skintone. I may be able to match it if I blend it in a lot though. I would definitely wear it as a bright red lipstick. If you glide it on to your lips, it goes on as a glossy look. If you pat it on your lips it looks more like a matte finish.

Value: $3.91

I have always wanted to try out dry shampoo but I have never gotten around to buy it. Apparently it is supposed to clean your hair without water. This would be really good to try out on nights that I am outside a lot because my hair feels so dirty afterwards.

Value: $0.77

I love Juicy Couture perfume! This sample smelled so good that I may have to save up some of my Birchbox points and buy a bigger bottle.

Value: $4.50

This is one of the colors from the Color Club Wanderlust collection. I'm not a big fan of white nail polish. I bet that I could use it for pretty designs on my nails though!

Value: $0.37

These look like cute little ketchup packets with lotion inside of them! I love both of these scents so I am just hoping that it will make my skin really soft.

Total Value: $36.10

The value of this box was over 3X the amount that I paid! I can't wait to try out all of these new products :)

  2. I quit Birchbox a few months ago. As of yet, I don't regret it; but I still love seeing what everyone is getting. Have you heard of the Target Beauty Box? The only thing I know is that it's sold out. :(
