Birchbox May 2013 Review

Hey Everybody!

I'm only a couple of weeks late on this one so I'm doing better :) My Birchbox came in! For those of you who are not familiar with Birchbox, it is a monthly subscription service that helps you discover new beauty, grooming and lifestyle products.

Cost: $10/month

Value: $1

I've heard a lot of good things about the "Yes to" brand but I've never tried it out before. I'm really hoping that the facial scrub work wells because I've been looking for a new face scrub for awhile. The dark spot correcting serum is supposed to diminish any dark spots. I've not sure if I have any dark spots though? When I'm really tired my under-eye circles get darker but I'm not sure if that is what it's supposed to help. I'll have to try it out!

Value:$1.73

I've never heard of this perfume either but I am really liking the scent. It kind of has a citrus scent mixed with something else, I just can't figure out what it is. I think that it smells really good.

Value: $2

I've never tried spray-on leave-in conditioner. It is supposed to smooth and moisturize your hair. I use leave-in conditioner all of the time so this should be interesting to try out.

Value:$2.24

This couldn't have come at a more perfect time. I haven't made my summer sunscreen purchase yet so now I can try out this brand to see if I like it enough to want to buy it. I like moisturizers with SPF built into it. This particular one has 30 SPF included with it.

Value: $11

Total Value of the Box: $17.97

I thought that this was a pretty good box. I was introduced to a lot of new products that I am really excited to try out!

  1. I recently tried the "yes to" brand with their tomato line and I'm happy with it so far, haven't seen the grapefruit stuff and will be interested to see what you think!

  3. That actually really surprises me that Birchbox doesn't go into Canada yet! I'm sure that they would have a lot of subscribers if they did.
