FabFitFun Summer Box Review + Coupon Code!

I had an amazing birthday yesterday, thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday!

I woke up to not 1, but 2 subscription boxes sitting on my doorstep this morning. I took the day off of work  because I knew I wasn't going to be of any help today ;) I have been waiting for my FabFitFun box since I got my last one! Click here to see my last FabFitFun box. I was disappointed in my last box because a lot of the value was in jewelry that I couldn't wear and didn't really like. I heard that there was going to be some big changes in this season's box so I still stayed with them, and let me tell you, I was far from being disappointed!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with FabFitFun, it is a quarterly subscription box that is curated by celebrity Giuliana Rancic. Every season, you receive hand-selected items from beauty, fashion, fitness and wellness. This season's box was supposed to have a value of over $200!


Ivory Mason Daisy Sunwear
Value: $135

I believe that I received the Daisy Sunglasses, it didn't specify in my box but after browsing their website Daisy looked like the ones that were most similar to the ones that I received. I loved these sunglasses! They are so cute and they're vintage. I would much rather see a lot of the value of the box be in a pair of sunglasses than jewelry that I'll never wear. I do have one problem with the pair of sunglasses that I received though. They are crooked and I can't wear them at all. I could immediately tell they were crooked as soon as I put them on my face. When I put them on the table, one side sat on the table and the other was about an inch off of the table. I contacted FabFitFun about this problem so hopefully they will fix it! From other reviews that I saw, subscribers got different pairs of sunglasses in their boxes. 


Catalina Su Lip Gloss
Value: $14

This lipgloss is a very nude color. If you don't like a lot of color, this lip gloss is definitely for you! It doesn't have a scent either for those of you who don't like fruity lip glosses. Personally, the scent is one of the main reasons why I get lip glosses but I would use it either way!


Purlisse PurDelicate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser
Value: $36

This is a mild, soap-free cleanser that leaves your skin touchably soft without a trace of impurity. It's a gentle makeup remover. I know that I can never have enough makeup remover! I think that I've seen this brand before but I've never tried it before. 


Evian Facial Spray
Value: $8.29

My first thought when I saw this was, "Is this evian water in an aerosol can?" According to the reviews, you spray this on your face and it replaces facial moisture from the sun or playing sports. I have honestly never seen anything like this before! I always incorporate Evian with their water but never with a beauty product. This would be great to use when I go sun bathing! Whenever it gets too hot, all I have to do is spray it on my face and feel refreshed again.


Infinity Sun Glow on the Go 
Value: $29.50

Spray tan in a can that is all natural and organic! I've never used spray tan before so I have no idea how to apply it. I've always been afraid I'd make myself look orange but I'd still try it out. Apparently one application should last you 7-10 days. It has really good reviews on Amazon too!


IT Haircare Surf Spray
Value: $7

I have been holding out on buying myself some sea salt spray for awhile now because I have been hoping that I would get some in one of my subscription boxes. That's why I was so glad to see this in my box! Now I can have those beach curls without having to go to the beach :)


KIND Bar
Value: $1.40

I can't believe that I have never tried a Kind bar before. I've seen them in stores but I've never bought them. Usually, I hate getting nutrition bars in subscription boxes but I can handle this one. A lot of people that I know eat these and they all love them. 


Orly Nail Lacquer
Value: $7.85

This is another popular brand that I have never tried before. I've seen Orly polishes on Hautelook before at a discounted price, I've just never bought it before. This is a really pretty color! I love light blues. 


Yes To Cucumbers Facial Towelettes
Value: $2

I love the "Yes to" brand products! I've never tried their cucumber line but I've heard great things about it. These wipes are great for cleaning your face and taking makeup off. 


Total Value of the Box: $241.04

The value of this box was amazing! Totally worth the $50 that it cost. I can't wait to find out what next seasons products are! They are just getting better every season :)

    Wow! This box is really great, an amazing variety of products and I think these are all things I'd use except the tan stuff. I hope they replace your glasses though. Happy belated birthday and I hope you had a lot of fun opening your sub boxes and otherwise enjoying the day :)

Diamond Candles vs Prize Candles

This week I'm trying a different type of post! Since I love subscription boxes, that means that I love surprises. So, of course I would love to try out surprise candles! I wanted to see which type of ring candle was better,  Diamond Candle  or  Prize Candle .  I got both candles in 2 different scents,  Prize Candle  was Blue Cypress and  Diamond Candle  was Be Mine (smells like wild berries, amber and roses). Each of the candles cost $25 a piece. Although,  Prize Candle  offers $10 your first purchase and  Diamond Candle  offers free shipping on orders $45 or more.  Inside both companies candles, there is a ring worth $10-$5,000.  First, the shipping. I ordered both candles the same night, within 15 minutes of each other.  Prize Candle  came 2 days before  Diamond Candle  did.
