Splendies Subscription Service July 2013 Review

I was lucky enough to receive the July shipment for a new subscription service called Splendies! For those of you who are not familiar with Splendies, they are a monthly subscription service for women. Each month, they send you 3 pairs of high quality panties. Their sizes go from small to extra large. They have another subscription service for plus sized women too. Their other site is called Volupties and they go from sizes 1XL-3XL. I've seen reviews for Splendies on other blogs and none of their packages have been the same, I love it when subscription services send out different items to their subscribers!

Cost: $12/month (They are having a sale right now where it's only $8/month!)


I can honestly say that I do not own one pair of panties that look like these. They are so comfortable and sexy though! I love the black lace trim and the fit is perfect.


Every girl needs their plain, black thong too, right? I think that every girl should have at least one of these because they match just about everything (except white dresses and pants of course). To me, they're an essential pair of panties that every girl should have to make her feel sexy and confident.


Do you think this picture makes these look blue or purple? In person, they are a deep purple but they don't look like that to me in the picture... No matter what color they look, these are your fun, basic panties. I love the ruching and bows that are in the front. It makes them look more trendy versus a "plain jane" pair. 

What did you think of Splendies panties? Would you subscribe for 3 pairs of panties for only $8 a month?

I know I would! I just love seeing all of the different pairs that people receive.

    how do you get sent items to review? ...Do the companies find you or do u seek them out?

    I am trying to figure out if it would be cool and interesting to have cute undies sent to me or if maybe its a little weird. They are cute but what if you don't like them? Could you send them back for a swap? I love reading about this but I am still undecided on panty subscriptions.

      I like receiving the surprises every month! I'm not sure what they do about products that you don't like, I didn't see anything about it in the FAQ. You could always e-mail them and ask about it!

Diamond Candles vs Prize Candles

This week I'm trying a different type of post! Since I love subscription boxes, that means that I love surprises. So, of course I would love to try out surprise candles! I wanted to see which type of ring candle was better,  Diamond Candle  or  Prize Candle .  I got both candles in 2 different scents,  Prize Candle  was Blue Cypress and  Diamond Candle  was Be Mine (smells like wild berries, amber and roses). Each of the candles cost $25 a piece. Although,  Prize Candle  offers $10 your first purchase and  Diamond Candle  offers free shipping on orders $45 or more.  Inside both companies candles, there is a ring worth $10-$5,000.  First, the shipping. I ordered both candles the same night, within 15 minutes of each other.  Prize Candle  came 2 days before  Diamond Candle  did. Hey Everyone! So it was really hard for me to decide which subscription box to give you all a giveaway for. Most of you said that you wanted to enter a drawing for  Glossybox . So I was going to make the prize a 3-month subscription to Glossybox . But then I thought, well what if the winner wants something different? So I am going to leave the prize open-ended for you guys.
