Sunday Social

I decided to join the Sunday Social again this week! Let me know if you did the Sunday Social this week too in the comments section. I love reading and commenting on all of your posts!

1. What is your all-time favorite song?

This is such an easy question! I can never listen to Bubble Toes by Jack Johnson too much. There's something about this song that makes me happy no matter what mood I'm in. I could listen to it on repeat all and I'd never get sick of it.

2. Who is your favorite singer/band?

This ties in with my answer to the top question. Jack Johnson is my all time favorite artist. His music is so light and bubbly, it makes me very happy. He is actually having a tour soon and I am so disappointed that I didn't get tickets. For some reason, they thought that it would be a good idea to have a lottery to sell tickets rather than selling them on a certain date with first come first serve basis. If you were chosen, you were sent a code and that allowed you to buy tickets. It was the worst idea ever. So many people were disappointed that they didn't even have a chance to buy tickets (including me). They did the whole lottery for charity and it did not turn out how they wanted at all. People are selling their tickets on Ebay for a ridiculous amount of money. Click here to see the ridiculous prices that people are selling their Jack Johnson tickets for on Ebay. I saw somebody selling 4 tickets to the show in Chicago on October 6th for $2,235.52. I wanted to go to the show really bad but that's just absolutely ridiculous.

3. What song reminds you of your childhood?

My parents listened to a lot of country music when I was younger so that pretty much reminds me of my childhood. We went on a lot of road trips so music was an essential for us. Pretty much any country music song made before 2000 reminds me of my childhood. Shania Twain was a really popular artist for my family.

4. What songs put you in a good mood?

Anything light and bubbly puts me in a good mood. That's probably why Jack Johnson is my favorite artist! Songs with fast beats make me happy too. What can I say? I love to dance!

5. What is your music to rock out to in your car?

I like to listen to a lot of the Top 40 songs. I like staying current with the songs that are popular at the moment, they're just really fun to jam out to in my car!

6. What is the most embarrassing album or song you own?

I can't really say that I have any. I don't really own any albums anymore and I only download songs that I know I absolutely love.

Let me know if you did the Sunday Social too! I want to check out your post too :)

  1. I think Shania is an essential for any person that listened to country music back in the 90's. It seemed like her music was on not only all the country stations but the pop stations as well and she had SO many singles come out. I do prefer her older stuff to her later stuff though.

  2. OMG that ticket deal sounds like a total fiasco! What a mess!

Shania reminds me so much of ridiculous slumber parties with some of my friends in middle school, we loved listening to her then!!!

  3. Shania Twain reminds me of my childhood too. I remember wanting to copy her outfits in her music videos - the long dress, denim vest and cowboy boots. I had an outfit that matched it perfectly.
