Elev8 Pre-Workout for Women--Wild Blueberry Review

Don't forget about the 2 giveaways that I have going on right now! I have one for a free month of Bestowed healthy food box (Click here to enter the Bestowed giveaway) and one for a free full-sized tube of Noxicare, an all natural pain reliever cream (Click here to enter the Noxicare giveaway).

I was actually lucky enough to be chosen to review an upcoming pre-workout from Elev8! I know that I've mentioned before about how I am trying to lose weight and get toned. It's not so much that I want to be "skinny", I just want to be fit and healthy! I started doing Crossfit back in January inconsistently, but I am starting to go on a regular basis again because you get what you put into it, am I right?

So anyways, I can never go to the gym without taking some pre-workout. It gives me enough energy to finish my workouts without wanting to quit half-way through. I've been trying out different types of pre-workout ever since I started Crossfit, and I've never been able to find one that fits me perfectly. I would end up trying a new brand right after I finished the old one.

I can honestly say that I have never tried a pre-workout that was designed specifically for women. To be honest, I didn't even know that they made any! Then I heard about Elev8 and I just had to do some more research about it. Here's some information that I found on their website about it:

"If you’re a women, looking to add that edge to your training, to feel sexier, toner, and in better shape, than Elev8 for Her is your solution! Elev8 for Her is an evolutionary Pre-Workout product possessing the ability to help ignite fat loss, increase energy levels, prolong fatigue, and help you train harder day in and day out"

One of the main things that I noticed on their website was that their pre-workout has 0 carbs, 0 sugar and no creatine (for those of you ladies who don't want to "bulk up"). When I am following my diet, I always avoid processed sugar and carbs. From what I have learned at my Crossfit classes, they are what's making me gain weight so I try and avoid them whenever possible.

So now for what I thought about the pre-workout! I received a sample of the flavor, "Wild Blueberry". I just tried my sample this morning before my Crossfit class so I have all of my opinions fresh in my head yet! I followed all of the instructions and I added my sample pack to 12-16 ounces of water. It says to test your tolerance and only take half the first time, but I pretty much know my tolerance for pre-workout mixes so I just took the whole thing and mixed it in with about 14 ounces of water. The instructions say that it's best to "blend" the mix with the water, but I didn't really have time to do that this morning so I just shook it up with my hands.

I was surprised that there was absolutely no clumping of my mix. It all blended in really, really well with the water even though I didn't actually use a blender to mix it in. There wasn't even any stray particles of the mixture swimming around at the bottom of my bottle. The taste was amazing, it wasn't too thick and it wasn't too watery. I've tasted some pretty bad pre-workouts before (some that even reminded me of dish soap) but this one was one of my top favorite flavors. Based on just the flavor, I would absolutely purchase more of it. Now for how well it worked. In my opinion, if I have a pre-workout that can get me through an entire Crossfit workout at 5AM, then it's a good one. It definitely worked for me this morning. I had more than enough energy to get me through my workout and I felt amazing afterwards. The 2 most important qualities of a pre-workout to me is the taste and performance. Based on how my first sample of it was today, I would ABSOLUTELY buy more Elev8 For Her

If you're interested in trying out this pre-workout then you can click here to go to their website and make a purchase! The available flavors are; wild blueberry, mango pineapple and pink lemonade (I want to try mango pineapple next). The cost is $49.99/jar and each jar will get you 30 servings.

They also sent me a sample of their all-natural protein bar in chocolate-chip banana nut. That combination of flavors already has my mouth watering, I love just about anything that has banana nut in it. As soon as I opened up the package, I could immediately smell the banana nut. I took a bite into it and it tasted amazing. The banana nut flavor was very strong so I knew that I was going to love it. There is 20 grams of protein, no soy and high fiber in their protein bars so I really enjoyed it!

Overall, I felt like Elev8 Pre-Workout was a really good product and their protein bars were delicious! I would absolutely make another purchase from them, which I probably will soon!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I need to get back on track with my New Years resolutions, and this will really help. I had no idea that they made pre-workout for women either. Women have different needs than men, so I'm glad they do. I will have to look into this.
