A couple of weeks ago, I received a package from NunaatNunaat is a company that sells hair products. If any of you guys have seen pictures of me, then you know how long my hair is! I'll post a picture of it in this post too. The thing about my hair is that it gets really difficult trying to take care of it all the time. I can't go 24 hours without washing my hair because it's so thin.

"Use as part of your normal hair cleansing regimen to combat dryness. Natural moisturizers found in shea butter will revitalize even the driest of hair. Experience noticeably stronger, healthier hair after just one shampoo."

The people at Nunaat recommended that I try their Karite Special with Shea Butter Collection. So that's what I did! I'm guilty of  using drug store brand shampoo and conditioner so my hair wasn't exactly in the best shape to begin with. It's thin and my split ends are terrible.

  • "Packed with vitamin A, D, E and F
  • Protects hair from harmful sun damage
  • No oily buildup or greasy residue
  • No clogged pores
  • Rehydrates, restores and revitalizes dry, damaged and brittle hair
  • Restores natural brilliance to chemically-processed hair
  • Protects hair from damage caused by daily flat iron use"

I've been using the Karite Special for a few weeks now and let me tell you, I am so impressed! The price is great and the outcome is even greater. After just one use of the shampoo and conditioner, I noticed how much healthier my hair looked.

After my first use, I did make the mistake of not using the detangler. My hair was a little hard to comb through the first time. Once I started using the detangler (the product in the third picture), I had absolutely no problems with trying to comb through my hair. The detangler reminded me of leave-in conditioner. For the first use, I accidently use a little bit too much. A little bit goes a long way as I learned, for my length hair I could use about a quarter size and it completely covered my hair.

I didn't get a before picture but this is what my hair looked like after I washed it for the first time with Nunaat (my hair was still a little wet in this picture). It looked so much more healthier! Plus, I noticed that I could go a day without washing it and it wouldn't be nearly as greasy as when I washed it with my drug store shampoo.

My final thoughts on Karite Special with Shea Butter Collection was nothing but good things. This entire collection costs less than $30, $29.95 to be exact. Plus, there are tons of other great formulas to try out too. Next time, I might try out their Brazilian Keratin products. My hair feels so much fuller and healthier! I definitely will be purchasing Nunaat in the near future!

  2. This way work for me. My hair is pretty thin too and I have to wash it everyday. It's always a rat's nest after I wash it too.
