I have a question for those of you who are bloggers and offer sponsorships on your blog. I was thinking about opening up my blog to sponsors but how do I go about doing that? I know a lot of bloggers use Passion Fruit but now they are starting to charge $9 a month for services. I understand they want to make some money but I don't feel like my blog is big enough for those kind of charges. I was thinking about using Adproval but I have no idea how to make all of the ads! What do you guys do?

  1. I just started my blog so I haven't done anything like that first, but I do know that a lot of bloggers use paypal to transfer payments and then have the sponsor email them a logo or a button and then just add it to their side bar! Whenever I DO get into the whole sponsor thing, I planned on doing it that way.

    1. I thought about doing that. For me, it's probably the best way. Thank you!

    2. I haven't started offering sponsorships yet either, but Becca May's suggestion does sound the simplest way to do it.

  2. Paypal and having them send you a banner is the easiest way. You should also find out your CPM (cost per thousand) to determine a good rate for your sponsored ads. You can also get one year of passionfruit for $50 which is a pretty good investment. Their CS is amazing and they sometimes give away free premium placements in their marketplace. Other places like Blog Ads can do all of the work for you, but you do need to have a certain number of pageviews and months active.

  3. I just started my blog but am interested in this, too. Good question!
