I got another WhimseyBox in my mail the other day and I couldn't wait to show you all what was inside of it! WhimseyBox is really starting to grow on me. They always have such great crafts and I always look forward to their boxes. For those of you who aren't familiar with WhimseyBox, it is a monthly craft subscription box that sends you a different craft to make every month, plus all of the supplies to make the craft.

I was really happy to see that they sent one of their reusable boxes again. I really like their reusable boxes because I can store all of the supplies that I don't use in them. This month's craft was a Stenciled Lavender Sachet. As soon as I opened the box, I immediately smelled the lavender and I was wondering what it was for. It smelled so good!


Some of the items that came with it are; a bag of letter stencils, a giant bag full of lavender and 3 smaller canvas bags. You are supposed to separate the bigger bag of lavender and put it in the 3 smaller bags, that way you can make 3 rooms smell good (or gift them to 3 different people). 


It also came with a sponge tool, a measuring tape and some paint. You can decorate the outside of the bags of lavender with the stencils and paint or however you want! I was thinking about dividing the bag and making a few for my family members. I have a feeling that my mom would really like the lavender sachets!

I'm pretty excited about making this project. I feel like it'll be a nice touch that I could add to any room. I'll probably use some paint colors that I already have so that each matches my specific rooms though!

    This is a really cute craft and what a fun box. I don't really like the scent of lavender, but otherwise this seems like a lot of fun.

    Also, perfect given the name of my blog!

Diamond Candles vs Prize Candles

This week I'm trying a different type of post! Since I love subscription boxes, that means that I love surprises. So, of course I would love to try out surprise candles! I wanted to see which type of ring candle was better,  Diamond Candle  or  Prize Candle .  I got both candles in 2 different scents,  Prize Candle  was Blue Cypress and  Diamond Candle  was Be Mine (smells like wild berries, amber and roses). Each of the candles cost $25 a piece. Although,  Prize Candle  offers $10 your first purchase and  Diamond Candle  offers free shipping on orders $45 or more.  Inside both companies candles, there is a ring worth $10-$5,000.  First, the shipping. I ordered both candles the same night, within 15 minutes of each other.  Prize Candle  came 2 days before  Diamond Candle  did.
