Goodies Co September 2013 Review

Image
I'm a little late on this review but I was really happy to see that my  Goodies Co  box came in!! I've been getting  Goodies Co  for quite some time now and they never seem to disappoint me. If you aren't familiar with  Goodies Co , it's monthly food subscription box. They send 5-8 different snacks each month! Cost: $7/month Nestle Lemon Water  ($0.50) I almost never drink bottled water, I lived in the country until just recently so I always drank well water. To me, Nestle water tastes like city water and I don't really like city water that much. I'm not a fan of flavored water either. I'll probably give this to D because he likes just about anything!  Fuji Apple Chips  ($2.17) I love apple chips! To me, they taste better than regular chips.Fuji apples are one of my favorite types of apples because they're so naturally sweet. The apple chips are so crispy and good! I loved getting these in my box! Kashi Hum

" To me, taking daily vitamins is very important because most people don't eat of the essential vitamins for a healthy lifestyle. I know that I don't eat enough and I just cannot afford to hav

Firmoo Sunglasses Review + Get a Free Pair!

Image
Hey you lovely readers! Sorry I've been a little absent lately. Did you know that moving and starting a new job all within a month is super stressful? I have so much stuff to review though! Hopefully I'll get done unpacking this week and I'll be able to do a lot more reviews.  A company called  Firmoo  offered to send me a pair of sunglasses to review and show my readers! I got to choose the pair that I wanted and I can't wait to show all of you :) I picked a pair of turtle rimmed sunglasses! They came in this really nice case that will definitely keep my sunglasses very safe. The case that these sunglasses came in was so much nicer than the cases that my prescription glasses came in! Firmoo sells prescription and fashion glasses but I just opted in for the fashion glasses this time because you can never have enough sunglasses, right? I love the tortoise shell design of my sunglasses. I chose this pair because it's a lot different than all

For the Makers September 2013 Review

Image
Lately I've been a little bit into doing some crafts. So when I heard about the subscription box called,  For the Makers , I knew that I had to try it out. If you've never heard of  For the Makers , it's a monthly subscription service that sends out the materials to make 4 different DIY projects for girls. Some projects are jewelry while others are accessories.  Cost: $29/month The 4 projects that I got this month were; true colors necklace, billie jean bracelet, maneater earrings and a tech case.  All of the items that I need to make the projects came inside of the box. Surprisingly, none of the projects actually needed a lot of surprises to make them.  I'm not going to lie though... I am totally disappointed in this box. I feel like $29 is way too much for the materials that I got. I could have bought these supplies on my own for less and have gotten more of each product. Don't get me wrong, the projects are really cute and I w

Cassani Fogless Shower Mirror Review

Image
Have you ever wished that there was a mirror in your shower? Guys might need one when they're shaving in the shower. I know I've wished I had one when I was putting my face wash on in the morning, I like to know that I completely covered my face. That's why I was really excited to try out the  Cassani Fogless Mirror . You can stick this mirror onto a wall in your shower, and it won't even fog up! The instructions to install the mirror are very simple. All you need to do is peel off the sticky on the back and apply it to wherever you want in the shower. To make the mirror fogless, all you have to do is run it under the running water in the shower and it will stay fogless all while you are in the shower. The box comes with the mirror, a handle to hold the mirror up and a piece that holds your razor. D really liked the mirror in the shower because then he could just shave with washing his hair. I thought that the mirror was perfect. If for whatever

Coaster by Lorena Bathey Book Review

Image
I haven't read a really good book in a really long time. When I saw the description of  Coaster  by Lorena Bathey, I knew that it was my kind of book. Here's the description that you can find online: " When a bomb explodes at an amusement park eight people are killed. This tragedy and loss will change the lives of those who loved and lost them. What happens when disaster touches someone's life? Will it inspire them? Destroy them? Or change them? A character study of grief, loss, and finding your way through tragedy, follow the survivors as they work to move forward when their life is abruptly shattered." I read this book in about 2 days and it's a 300 page book. That tells me that it was a very good book. The book was very well written and I didn't want to put it down once I started. It was very easy to become connected with the characters and follow their stories. I would absolutely recommend this book to any adult. There is a lot of adult cont

Kona Kase September 2013 Review + Coupon

Image
My  Kona Kase  came in the mail today!! I haven't received a  Kona Kase  in quite awhile so I was really happy to get this one again. I remember the last  Kona Kase  that I received and I was a little bit on the fence about it. They sent a lot of smaller items that I knew I wouldn't really like so I was curious to see how much they have changed. Let me tell you, they have made very good changes to their boxes! Cost: $15/month ( USE MY REFERRAL LINK TO GET $5 OFF YOUR FIRST MONTH ) If I remember correctly, the  Kona Kase  box used to be a bit bigger. It looks like they sized it down a little but in my opinion, that isn't a bad thing. They had some pretty amazing products in this month's box. Krave Beef Jerky, Chili Lime  ($3.74) I can't eat enough beef jerky. I see this brand around quite a bit but I've never really tried it before. I think that Chili Lime sounds like an amazing flavor though. Greenola Raisin Coconut  ($4)
