Birchbox September 2013 Review

I always try to stay off of the Birchbox website whenever I hear that the spoilers come out. I would have it be a surprise every month. That's why I was so excited to see my Birchbox box sitting on my dining room table tonight!!

Cost: $10/month

I will stay this over and over, if you've never tried a subscription box before, get Birchbox! They are a great starter box.

Sea Salt Primer  ($10.75)

Well, this one bottle of sea salt spray was worth more than I paid for my entire box! I love how sea salt spray makes my hair look. This is a very generously sized bottle too! I could tell that there was something heavy in my box as soon as I picked it up.

Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips ($5.50)

When I read "nipple balm" I was like, what the... Then I read the last line and felt much better about it LOL. Apparently this is kind of a use-all cream. I'll end up using it for my lips but apparently you can use it on other things too, like your feet!

Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara ($9.50)

I have no idea how this mascara's quality is, but there is one thing that I absolutely love about it. The packaging is amazing. I love anything with a pink pearl finish. I have so much mascara that needs to be used, it's not even funny. I'll probably end up trying this out tomorrow before I go to work. 

Now for my favorite part, the little box!

Ruffian Nail Lacquer ($10)

I'm not a huge fan of this color for my nails. In person, it looks like a mossy green color. My favorite eyeliner ever is this exact same color, I just don't like it that much on my nails. I'll definitely be able to match it with some outfits but I would have liked a different color better.

(Malin + Goetz) Vitamin E Moisturizer ($0.90)

I love Malin + Goetz products. I got a bottle of shampoo from them a couple of months ago and it was amazing. I can't wait to see how their moisturizer does. I'm sure it will be great!

Once again, Birchbox has impressed me for this month. They sent out some really great items that I know I will actually use!
