It's Sunday Social time again! 

1. What was your favorite trip/vacation/activity this summer?

Well I only went on one trip this summer so that one would be my favorite. I went to Canada to see Niagara Falls and it was gorgeous! We spent a couple of days there, went on a tour and did some shopping. Then we headed back to the States and visited Michigan. It was the first time that I've ever seen the Great Lakes and they were so pretty.  

2. What was your favorite outfit look/clothing item of the summer?

I loved wearing sundresses this summer. They're cute, short and colorful. While I spend most of my time wearing tank tops and gym shorts, I still enjoyed dressing up with a sundress every once in awhile.

3. What is one thing you wish you'd gotten to do this summer?

I wish that I spent more time at the pool. As it turned out, this was my last summer without a full time job so I kind of wish that I had enjoyed it a little more. Either way, I still had a really good time and I can't wait to start my new job!!

4. What was your favorite song of the summer?

I didn't really have a favorite song this summer. There were a lot of songs that I really, really liked but nothing that I would call my favorite. Although, I did listen to a lot of Lana del Rey songs!

5. What was your favorite movie/tv show of the summer?

Oh this is a tough one. I don't really have any favorites specifically but I have been meaning to watch Orange is the New Black for awhile now. Everyone keeps talking about how good that show is!

    1.) Number one my favorite activity of the summer was going to watch the movie Grace Unplugged long before it hits the theaters with my kids. (I'm currently giving away the two books associated with this awesome movie on my blog.)
    2.) My favorite clothing item is actually my flip flops (I know that's not a clothing item, but really it's what I look forward to even remotely close to that category.
    3.) I had wanted more time to swim with my kids this year but between the rain and only having one vehicle it wasn't possible.Plus on most days it was honestly just to hot to even want to swim.
    4.) I don't listen to music enough anymore (even though I LOVE music!) to say I know what the new songs are anymore.
    5.) I have started watching Orange is the New Black and even went so far as to write a blog post about it because it's one of those shows that sucks you in even if you don't want to be. There certain parts of the shows that makes me feel like I'm wrong for watching it, but I just can't help it.
    However, I have to say I love Mistresses,The Haves and Have Nots, and of course, Cedar Cove from this summer's new line of shows.

    Niagara Falls IS a beautiful place! I haven't been there in a long time - I'd love to go back and take my kids! :) One of my new favorite songs is Summertime Sadness ;)

    I have meant to watch "Orange in the new Black" too! I havent got around to it all summer!! I have REALLY loved watching Graceland on USA this summer. I'm going to be so bummed when it goes off in two weeks!!

Diamond Candles vs Prize Candles

This week I'm trying a different type of post! Since I love subscription boxes, that means that I love surprises. So, of course I would love to try out surprise candles! I wanted to see which type of ring candle was better,  Diamond Candle  or  Prize Candle .  I got both candles in 2 different scents,  Prize Candle  was Blue Cypress and  Diamond Candle  was Be Mine (smells like wild berries, amber and roses). Each of the candles cost $25 a piece. Although,  Prize Candle  offers $10 your first purchase and  Diamond Candle  offers free shipping on orders $45 or more.  Inside both companies candles, there is a ring worth $10-$5,000.  First, the shipping. I ordered both candles the same night, within 15 minutes of each other.  Prize Candle  came 2 days before  Diamond Candle  did.
