Birchbox October 2013 Review

It's that time of the month again, Birchbox came in!! Birchbox is usually a hit or miss for me. Usually they have some good stuff in their boxes but some months are just a total drag. If you aren't familiar with Birchbox, it is a monthly subscription for women (although they do have a men's box now too) that allows you to try out samples of different creams and makeup. I have discovered a lot of great brands thanks to Birchbox so I don't think that I'll be unsubscribing any time soon!

The Half-Up ($9)

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I think that it looks like a great product but I am really bad at doing my hair, even with helping tools. From the pictures that are on the packaging, I could only see myself wearing the low bun.

ChapStick Lip Care Moisturizer, Hydration Lock ($3.24)

I am an avid user of chapstick. My chapstick collection is way bigger than my lipgloss and lipstick collection. I probably won't use the $1 off coupon just because I have so many tubes of chapstick already.

Serious Skincare Glycolic Gommage Exfoliating Facial ($1.39)

I've never used a product like this before but I guess that it is a cream that is supposed to make your complexion look smoother, healthie and younger. Can't complain about that, right?

I love the boxes that they include!

Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum ($4)

I wasn't too happy when I saw sunscreen serum in my box. I don't know about where you all are from, but where I live, we don't go outside during the Winter too often. Even right now is way too cold to go outside and spend a lot of time outdoors. I guess that this is supposed to work on past sun damage spots too so I guess it's okay to use. I like the Supergoop brand though. I use their eye cream everyday.
