Beauty Box 5 October 2013 Review



Yay!! I just got my very first Beauty Box 5! I've been meaning to buy their subscription box for a really long time so I was really excited when I finally got around to it. If you aren't familiar with Beauty Box 5, it's a monthly beauty subscription that sends 5 samples each month.


Cost: $12/month


Toe Separators ($2)

These are adorable! I love the red glitter, hopefully it doesn't brush off into my pedicure though. When I tried shaking any glitter off nothing really shook off so I should be good!


Model Co Illusion Lip Enhancer Kit ($18.95)

I have never tried a lip liner pencil before... I have a feeling I am going to have to practice with this pencil quite a few times before I'm confident enough to go out in public with it LOL. 


Aveeno Hand Lotion ($0.51)

I love Aveeno hand lotion! This is going into my purse right away. 


Nubar Nail Polish ($3.21)

This is a pretty, sparkle top coat. I bet it would look good with a red underneath!


La Fresh Facial Cleanser Wipes ($2.50)

I love this brand of facial wipes. They work really well and make my face feel amazing afterwards!

That is such an amazing deal! I will definitely have to consider getting more Beauty Box 5's in the (very) near future!

Diamond Candles vs Prize Candles

This week I'm trying a different type of post! Since I love subscription boxes, that means that I love surprises. So, of course I would love to try out surprise candles! I wanted to see which type of ring candle was better,  Diamond Candle  or  Prize Candle .  I got both candles in 2 different scents,  Prize Candle  was Blue Cypress and  Diamond Candle  was Be Mine (smells like wild berries, amber and roses). Each of the candles cost $25 a piece. Although,  Prize Candle  offers $10 your first purchase and  Diamond Candle  offers free shipping on orders $45 or more.  Inside both companies candles, there is a ring worth $10-$5,000.  First, the shipping. I ordered both candles the same night, within 15 minutes of each other.  Prize Candle  came 2 days before  Diamond Candle  did.
