Birchbox November 2013 Review
I was super ecstatic to see my Birchbox sitting in my mailbox yesterday! With all of the holidays coming up, I'm even more excited to see all of the holiday themed boxes coming out! If you aren't familiar with Birchbox, it is a monthly subscription for women (although they do have a men's box now too) that allows you to try out samples of different creams and makeup. I have discovered a lot of great brands thanks to Birchbox so I don't think that I'll be unsubscribing any time soon!

This month's theme was "More Good".
This month's box came with a little gift guide. This is the first time that I've ever seen a small magazine inside of Birchbox with all of the products that you can buy from Birchbox's website.
I can never have enough lotion. I love this smaller bottle because it's perfect size to put into my purse. The smell is amazing too, I love the smell of cucumbers. It's really moisturizing too! My hands felt very soft after using it.
I got one of these in one of my Ipsy bags awhile ago and to be honest with you all, I'm not quite sure how to use it LOL. According to the description you can use it to blend in your brow bone, cheekbones or along the lip line. If anybody has any tips for me on how to use this, please do tell!
Orange Coco Pod ($1)
Of course I already ate this, as I was writing this review. This was the very first time that I've ever tried orange flavored chocolate and I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty impressed. It tastes delicious!
My favorite part!!
I have a couple of other polishes from Color Club thanks to Birchbox. I'm not going to lie though, this isn't exactly my favorite color of nail polish to wear. I'm more of a bright color nail polish wearer. This is too neutral for me.
I am an avid user of face scrubs so I have a feeling that this is going to get used up really quick! I just rand out of my last scrub so this is going to get used up really quickly :)

The Chella highlighter makes a really nice eyeshadow base! It's also good on the waterline to make your eyes look bigger. I'm pale so it makes a decent on the go concealer for me, too.

ReplyDeleteErica, This makes me want to subscribe to Birchbox again. They are really doing well these days. That polish is a great natural and even though I don't wear it very often it's similar to what I am currently wearing. Great box. Thanks for sharing. (◕‿◕✿)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Boy did you get lucky! My November 2013 box was highly disappointing. The only product that I liked was the Chella Highlighter. I didn't get any of the other items that you received. I'm fed up with Birchbox. This was their last chance and they blew it with me. I'm canceling my subscription.

DeleteYou got a great box this month! I'm not too excited about mine. I use a highlighter pencil on the inside corners of my eyes to brighten them up a bit. I was hoping I was getting the highlighter pencil and the Tocca hand cream in my Birchbox this month, but I didn't receive either. I didn't get chocolate like everyone else either, I got tea. I'm hoping for a better box next month. This month definitely wasn't one of my favorites.

Unpack the Box
It amazing how many products this month are repeats from earlier this year. It's almost like they collected all the left overs and are sending them out before 2014. I cancelled my subscription last month and boy am I glad. Thank you for this post!
ReplyDeleteI was extreamly disapointed with my november birchbox...I got chocolate which I hate chocolate and stuff I dont use..I put in my profile that I only want makeup products and I didnt even get makeup. I wanted the chella pencil but I didnt recieve that..I am tired of being let down by birchbox..
