Tyler Florence Fancy Box April 2013 Review + Coupon Code!

Hey Everyone!

I just received the very first Tyler Florence Fancy Box! I have been waiting for this box for about a month and I could not wait to rip it open to see what was inside.

Cost: $39/month (Use the coupon code "20OFF14" to save $20 off your first Fancy Box!)

"Get a collection Of the best home goods hand-picked by celebrity chef Tyler Florence each month. Each box includes $80.00+ of products."

I still love that Fancy Box sends these little individual index cards instead of one big letter.

Value: $15

I probably would have never bought this if I hadn't received it in my Fancy Box. I actually didn't even know that such a thing existed! It is supposed to separate the yolk from the egg whites. That would be perfect for when I want sunny side up eggs without the added fat that the yolk has.

Value: $15

I'm not going to lie, this thing looks awesome. I love the traditional brass knuckles look that it has. I don't usually tenderize my steaks before I cook them though. Do most people do that? With a cooking utensil that looks this cool I may have to try it out.

Value: $25

Finally! I always see other people getting these in their subscription boxes but this is the first time I have gotten these in a box. I have been wanting whiskey stones for awhile now but I thought that I would hold off on buying them myself just in case I got some in a subscription box. You can put these in virtually any drink; coffee, wine, pop, whiskey, etc. I hate the diluted water taste that ice cubes leave in my soda.

Value: $35

I was flipping through some of the recipes in this cookbook and they look absolutely delicious. Unfortunately for me, I am a terrible cook. I literally burned my grilled cheese the other week. If I ever feel like being a Top Chef one night, I may have to find a recipe in here that even I could handle.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that it was a SIGNED copy of his book!

Total Value of the Box: $90

The value of this box was way over the $40 that I spent. I really loved this box too, I would recommend it to anybody! Even the people that aren't that good at cooking (like me). What did you guys think about the Tyler Florence Fancy Box? Were you as pleased with it as I was?
