Ipsy My Glam Bag February 2014 Review

I was extra excited about my  Ipsy  bag this month because I had redeemed some of my Ipsy  points and I was excited to get them! I started getting  Ipsy  over a year again, in November 2012 and I've loved it ever since. They always have high quality beauty items for an affordable price. They used to send out the same items to everyone each month but now they've gone to curating the bags to the things that you like and don't like.  Cost: $10/month This month's theme was "The Look of Love". Beauty Blender  ($1.64) I've heard amazing things about the beauty blender, I'm surprised that I haven't gotten it in a subscription box before. The beauty blender is supposed to blend in your liquid foundation and creams (like bb cream). From all the reviews that I've seen, it's amazing. The little bottle is a sample of cleaning solution. I hear that it's not necessary to clean the blender though, you can use water too.  ...

Ipsy My Glam Bag January 2014 Review

I'm always excited to see the pink foil package in my mailbox because that always means that my  Ipsy  bag is finally here!  Ipsy  was one of the first subscription services that I ever tried and I have loved it ever since. I've seen other people's reviews for this month and I was a little leery to see what I got because I wasn't too excited about anybody else's bag.  Cost: $10/month This month's themes was, "19 Reasons Why 2014 Will Be Amazing". On first look, I'm not a huge fan of this month's bag. It's just not my style and I've already noticed a dirt mark on it. I stay subscribed to  Ipsy  because while some months they have flops, other month's they have all amazing products. $10 is within my budget so I feel like I can afford some not so good month's.  Epica Hydrating Facial Cleanser  ($4.91) This hydrating facial cleanser is supposed to remove makeup while refreshing the skin. I'm all ...

I get so excited whenever I see this pink foil bag sitting in my mailbox, because I know that it's my  Ipsy Bag !   Ipsy Bag  was actually my very first subscription service and I've loved it ever since. If you aren't familiar with  Ipsy Bag , it's a monthly subscription service that sends out beauty items each month, based on your preferences. Cost: $10/month Eye Blender Brush  ($27) I cannot believe how nice this brush is (it's so expensive too!) I think that I spent $30 on my whole make up brush set. This is such a nice brush though. The design on the handle is so cool and the bristles are perfect. This has already become my new favorite eye brush.  NYX Lipstick  ($4) I really like this color of lipstick. It's more of a nude color so I'm probably going to wear it to work quite often. It's perfect for an everyday look. Nicka Nai...

Ipsy MyGlam Bag October 2013 Review

My pink foil bag came in the mail last week, so you know what that means... My  Ipsy  bag came in!! It never gets old seeing that pink bag in my mail.  Ipsy  was my very first makeup subscription service and in my opinion, each month gets even better!  Click here  to see my past  Ipsy  reviews.  It looks like this month's theme was "The Art of Beauty" Cost: $10/month This month's bag was so full, all of my products didn't even fit inside of the makeup bag! I think that the design of the makeup bag this month is really cute, I love the saying that it has on it. I do not like that the bag is white though. They sent another white bag a couple of months ago and I am constantly washing it because it gets dirty. I already got this one dirty because I accidently dropped it :( La Fresh Eco Beauty Oil-Free Face Cleanser Wipes  ( $3.30) I use face cleanser cloths almost every night to remove a lot of my mak...

Sation Nail Lacquer "Love at First Byte" Review

Image
I'm starting to find more time for my reviews so expect a lot more to come in the near future!  A couple of months ago, I received a bottle of Sation Nail Lacquer in  "Love At First Byte"  from Ipsy .  From first look, I wasn't too excited about the color. I like to wear bright or pastel colors. Nude nail polishes aren't really my thing. Unless I'm trying to look a little more professional, which was when I decided to try this out :) I saw this color on Amazon for $3.40 if any of you are interested in trying it out.  As soon as I started to take the brush out of the bottle, I noticed how thin the polish was. Did any of you have that problem when you put it on? I've never used  Sation  nail lacquer before so I wasn't sure if that was normal for their polishes.  It wasn't even noticeable after one application. It took 4 coats to get the coverage that I have in this picture. If you look at the bottom 2 fingers, you can still see my t...

The pink foil bag came in my mail this week so you know what that means, my  Ipsy Glam Bag  has arrived!  Ipsy  was the very first beauty subscription box that I have ever gotten so I'm pretty loyal to them. I bought a years subscription when I first started and I can't believe that the year is almost up, I started back in November 2012. If you've never gotten a subscription box before, I recommend starting with  Ipsy . It's cheap and their bags get better every month! Cost: $10/month For those of you who are unfamiliar with  Ipsy , it is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends only deluxe-size samples and full-sized products plus a makeup bag every month.  Click here to see my past Ipsy reviews. LIME CRIME Nail Polish - Crema De Limon Value: $8 A couple of months ago,  Ipsy  started a rewards program. If you recommend 2 friends, then they send you a special gift and this was my gift for the month. I've...
