Umba Box Subscription April 2013 Review

Image
Hey Everybody! I am definitely late on this review because I received the box a few weeks ago but I received my very first  Umba Box !  Cost: $25/month I've mentioned in earlier posts that I am a huge supporter of small businesses. That is exactly what Umba Box is trying to promote as well, small and upcoming businesses. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Umba Box, it is a monthly subscription box that includes 2-3 handmade women's items from jewelry, stationery, bath products and home goods.   Each item in the box comes with a story about the creator and their company as well.  Tangerine Shampoo Bar from Scum Soaps Value: $4 I have honestly never even seen a solid bar of shampoo, I didn't even know that they existed. It is supposed to work just like regular shampoo when cleaning your hair, if not better. You rub the bar on your hair and lather it up (a little bit goes a long way) then you scrub your hair with your fingers just

Tyler Florence Fancy Box April 2013 Review + Coupon Code!

Image
Hey Everyone! I just received the very first  Tyler Florence Fancy Box!  I have been waiting for this box for about a month and I could not wait to rip it open to see what was inside.  Cost: $39/month (Use the coupon code " 20OFF14 " to save $20 off your first Fancy Box!) " Get a collection Of the best home goods hand-picked by celebrity chef Tyler Florence each month. Each box includes $80.00+ of products." I still love that Fancy Box sends these little individual index cards instead of one big letter.  Pluck Egg White Separator Value: $15 I probably would have never bought this if I hadn't received it in my Fancy Box. I actually didn't even know that such a thing existed! It is supposed to separate the yolk from the egg whites. That would be perfect for when I want sunny side up eggs without the added fat that the yolk has.  Knuckle Meat Pounder Value: $15 I'm not going to lie, this thing looks awesome

Doggyloot Toy-of-the-Month April 2013 Review

Hey Everybody! Don't worry, I didn't forget about you all. My schedule has been extremely busy these past couple of weeks because I am a student so I had some Finals to do but now they are over! I just have a couple more assignments to turn in then I can finally do my happy dance.  I received my  Doggyloot  (if you use my referral link you can get $5 off your first purchase!) toy-of-the-month a couple of weeks ago and I am just now getting around to sharing it with you all. Doggyloot is actually a website that has different flash sales for dog items everyday but they just started the toy-of-the-month a couple of months ago.  You have the option to choose between the small, medium or large dog option and I receive the large dog toy each month.  Cost: $12.99/month Soft Flex Air Ball   Value: $6.99 I'm really not liking the value that I paid versus the value of the toy. For now, this will probably be my last toy-of-the-month for awhile. I really li

Soap of the Month Club March 2013 Review

Image
Hey Everyone! I just received by  Organically Green Soap of the Month Club!  For those of you who are unfamiliar with this service, you receive a full-sized bar of organic soap each month plus some samples. All of the soaps that are sent out are made with a highly moisturizing formula, no artificial colors, 100% vegetable base, biodegradable and not tested on animals. Cost: $6.50/month Tea, Lemon, Clove Soap with Calendula Flowers This is the sample soap for this month, there wasn't too much information about it on their website but it does smell good! Parsley & Coconut Soap I didn't up the package yet because I want to keep it fresh until I use it. According to their website this parsley soap speeds up collagen production, clean pores, soothes tired eyes and it is a nourishing skin treatment. It is unscented too, just in case anybody was wondering. I really like getting these monthly soaps. It helps me mix up my boring soap routine an

Pawalla Mini Subscription Box March 2013

Hey Everyone! I am a little late on this but I received my  Pawalla  Mini Box for March! I received the mini box for my puppies. If any of you aren't familiar with Pawalla, you have the opportunity to choose between a dog or cat box. In each box you receive 3-5 full-sized items. The items includes treats, a toy and a surprise(s). All of the items in the boxes are natural or organic too! Cost: $17/month PetLou Monkey Stick Value: $6.99 The description of the monkey stick says that it is durable. However, we have gotten this same toy in another box and it was ripped apart in a few hours. It is a really cute toy! It just doesn't last for very long in this house.  Natural Balance Healthy Bones Value: $3.99 These smell so good! Not that I plan on eating one or anything, but they actually do smell like cranberries. My dogs love to eat these and they sit patiently to get one. They are a little small for my dogs so I usually give each pupp

Cravebox Bikini Ready Box

Image
Hey Everybody! My latest  Cravebox  came in the mail last week! This boxes theme was "Bikini Ready". Of course it was geared towards the upcoming bikini season! If you guys are unfamiliar with Cravebox, it is definitely different than other subscription boxes. Instead of being guaranteed a box, you take a survey and enter the drawing once a box becomes available. If you are chosen to get the box, they charge your card (usually the same day that you get the email confirmation) and send it off the next day. Each box has a different cost, usually between $13-15 each. Cost: $13 $2 off Sally Hansen Wax  and a  $5 Credit on GymPact I signed up for GymPact on my phone and with it, you earn money for each time that you work out. You can run, go to the gym or workout at home. It seems pretty fun to me and it really motivates me to get my gym time in each week! Zone Perfect Nutrition Bar  in Chocolate Caramel Cluster Value: $1.44 This bar ki
