Ipsy Bag May 2013 Review

Hey Everyone!

This has definitely been my favorite Ipsy bag of all time! There was so much stuff in it that I could hardly put it all back together for the pictures :)

Cost: $10/month

This is probably my favorite Ipsy makeup bag out of all the ones that I have received. I love the chevron print, it is so cute!

Value: $7.49

I love the idea of this body lotion! It is supposed to give you a nice glow while moisturizing your skin at the same time. I can't wait to try this out, I'll have to save it for a night when I'm going out. My legs look pretty white and sometimes they could use a nice glow to them :)

Value: $15

I tried to do a swatch of this lip gloss but it didn't turn out so good. I'm not quite sure how I feel like the sparkles in my lip gloss anymore but I still think that it's a really pretty color! I've used Juice Beauty products before and I've found them to be really good so I'm guessing that their lip gloss is good too.

Value: $4.85

I have Yaby products, I just haven't tried them out yet. A girl can never have enough concealer though, right? This is actually really close to my natural skin tone so they matched it perfectly!

Value: $20

I absolutely LOVE this shade of eyeshadow! You can't tell very well in this picture but it is a very dark, shimmery green. Urban Decay is one of my go-to makeups. My favorite eyeliner is made by Urban Decay and it is called, "mildew". My favorite eyeliner is almost the same color of this eyeshadow. Not everybody got this in their bag. Ipsy just started a referral program and if you referred 2 friends, than you got this product in your bag. I seriously love this little extra!

NuMe Hair Finishing Serum for Heat Damage Protection
Value: $4.76

It seems like my hair has been looking extremely damaged lately. I'm trying to find things to make it look normal again and maybe this is the trick? I'll have to try it out and see if there is any difference in how my hair looks.

Value: $7.89

The picture that I found online of this shade looks a lot different than the one that I got. From the picture it just looks like a white color, right? If you click on the link for the Zoya polish just above the price, it looks like a very light blue color. The picture of it actually looks really pretty. I'll have to test it out myself just to see the actual color of it :)

Total Value: $59.99

I absolutely loved this Ipsy bag! It was so much fun and there were great products in it. I can't wait to find out what the next bag is going to have in it :)

  1. I don't know, the Zoya looks very light blue to me? it'll be neat to see how it looks on your nails, definitely swatch it :) really awesome about the eye shadow too, and yay that they got your concealer right, it seems like a difficult item to get in a beauty box so that's fantastic.

    1. When I look at it more, it does look like it is a very light blue color. I think it's really pretty! I was surprised that the concealer was so close to my skin tone. I thought that if I ever got stuff like that in a subscription bag than it would for sure be the wrong shade. This is almost perfect though!

  5. I received the same bag, except the nail polish was a tan/white color. Completely did not fit my tone. Other than that loved my bag!

  7. This seems like a great subscription service. I've never signed up for any of these, but this is one I'd consider checking out!
