I was chosen to review the book, "How to Keep a Job"by  Naija Job Hunt.

"A recent poll found that, of many youths surveyed, 84 percent rank steady work as a major life goal." I pulled this quote from the book, I feel like it explains the majority of people's life long goals. I know that getting and keeping a steady job is one of my life-long goals.

This book has the 5 most important tips to keeping a job, after you have landed it. I felt like the 5 tips that were given are pretty important but I also felt like some of them were pretty obvious. For example, number 3 was "Don't Gossip. I just feel like that is a pretty obvious tip because gossiping at the job is something that anybody in a professional position would not do. A lot of the other tips were very helpful though.

Overall, I thought that the book was okay. It was pretty short and I kind of knew a lot of the tips that were in the book already.

Their website is pretty interesting. It lists a lot of jobs that are available in Nigeria. If you've ever wanted to work or live in a foreign country, I'd definitely recommend checking out their website Naija Job Hunt.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. It sounds like a book worth checking out. It is hard enough to get a job, but keeping one in some places can be hard, too, esp where there is high turnover, they probably don't deal with bad situations.
