Kev Kit Review November 2013

How much would you love a package that looked like this to arrive at your front door? This is exactly how my very first Kev Kit arrived! There was a plastic wrap around it to protect the pretty tissue paper but I just loved seeing this come to my door! I can't say that I have ever gotten a subscription box that looked this pretty before. It felt just like opening up presents on Christmas morning!

Cost: $49.99/month

As soon as I opened the box, I could immediately smell something amazing.

The description paper was amazing! It was like a little book, each item had it's own very long description.

Phyto Origen ($0.50)

I actually got 2 sample packs of these. Neither one of them tell me how much is in them, so my best guess was that they would be valued at $0.50 for both packets. It's nice that they included that really long product information guide because a lot of these sample are in Korean. I guess that Nature Republic is a really popular brand in Korea! The Phyto Origin is supposed to remove the dead skin and show a clear complexion underneath!

I already know that I love this brand! I actually got it in one of my Cara Boxes a few months ago, this exact same scent too. I am almost out of it though so it couldn't have been more perfect timing!

Teavana ($6.98)

I got a white tea made with mango and pineapple, yummy! I don't drink a lot of tea but it does calm me down. I enjoy a nice cup of hot tea every once in awhile.

Nature Republic Foam Cleanser, Cleansing Oil and Makeup Remover ($4)

It seems as if my makeup remover leaked a little during shipping. I couldn't seem to find these items online so I thought $4 was pretty reasonable for a sample pack!

Scarf ($10)

How pretty is this scarf? I have no idea what brand it is but I know that I could match it with just about anything.

Goofy Glasses ($0.50)

I used to wear these around Halloween time as a kid! I'll probably give them to a friend with younger kids because I'm not sure what I'll do with them now...

This is a cream that you put on your face before makeup to keep it from drying out. It even got an award from Allure in 2011!

These colors are so pretty! A girl can never have enough nail polish though, right?

Clutch ($15)

Once again, I have no idea what the brand of this is. I love it though! This would match a big portion of my wardrobe and it's perfect for a night out with the girls or even a professional lunch date.

Sports Mask ($1.65)

I love masks! I'm more than likely going to end up using one of these tonight.

I guess that this perfume is actually more like a lotion. The website says that it's supposed to make you skin "look like peaches and cream". I added in the other sample that I forgot to take a picture of for the Phyto Origin!

And finally, this is the reason why my box smelled so good when I opened it, they threw in some potpourri!

Total Value of the box: $61.26

I loved my first Kev Kit! It's a great lifestyle subscription box that has tons of different products.

  3. Wow, I never thought about this kind of thing, but I can see how it would be a great gift to give someone - how much fun it is to see all these nice little treats that many people typically would love, but wouldn't get for themselves!!
