Birchbox January 2014 Review
Whoot!! Guess what came in the mailbox yesterday? Yup! Birchbox. I'm going to give you guys a little bit of a spoiler on how my review is going to go; this month's box was amazing! If you're new to the whole subscription box thing, I would highly recommend diving into Birchbox because they're mainly the original subscription box. It's a great way to introduce yourself to makeup products/subscription boxes and it's very affordable!
This month's theme was starting over in 2014 and saying hello to a new you!
This month's box even came with some motivational cards.
$3 off coupon for Burt's Bees hand lotion, I'm a huge fan of Burt's Bees but I don't think I'll be using this because I way way too much hand cream as it is.
Serge Normant Dry Conditioner ($6.67)
I've a huge fan of dry shampoo but I've never used dry conditioner before. From what I'm reading about it, it acts the same way as dry shampoo only you use it after you use the dry shampoo. I can't see why it would hurt if I just use the dry conditioner instead of the dry shampoo.
Burts Bees always make great products so I was really excited to see this in my box. Of course I tried it out as soon as I saw it in my box. My final thought on this lotion was that it worked great! My hands felt very moisturized as I used it.
I only wear natural colored eyeshadows so I know that this will have some good use from me! I'll probably end mix and match some of the colors to create different looks.
Viva la Juicy ($1)
I like the smell of viva la juicy so I could easily use this one day. It smells great.
Nail Rock Nail Caviar ($15.62)
This is the coolest stuff. I wanted to show you all how cool it is instead of telling you about it:
Here's what it looks like on my nails. The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't stay on for very long. It's be great for a special event but other than that I'm afraid it wouldn't last very long. I've had it on for about a day now and half of it has fallen off already.
Total Value: $27.46
Disclaimer: I bought this box with my own money, all opinions are my own.
