I got the awesome opportunity to try out one of CorsetChick's corsets! I'm not going to lie, I've never tried on a corset before. Whenever I see them at stores in my area, they are always so expensive so I don't even bother. I was so excited that I got the opportunity to try one out. I was browsing through CorsetChick's website and found so many for $30 or less! I even saw some adorable ones for $20. To me, that's a really good deal because a lot of the ones that I've seen were $80+ in stores around my town.

I got to pick my top 3 corset top choices and based on what was in stock, they sent me the one that I liked. I probably spent at least 2 hours trying to choose my favorites. There were so many pretty designs, I couldn't choose! I read somewhere that the corsets usually run smaller than regular clothes. Whenever I go shopping, I usually buy large tops, sometimes extra large if I want it to be loose. So I took a measurement of my waist and figured that I should get a 2 or 3XL based on their size chart. A 3XL fits a 12-14 US dress size, so I ended up getting that.
While I don't normally consider myself a plus size, it is great that they offer plus-size corsets! Their sizes go from a size small (dress size 2-4) to a size 6 extra large (dress size 18-20). I ended up getting the Vivacious Pink and Gold Design Corset ($29.99). I love the print on it! This photo makes the design look white, but it's really gold!
Here's a better, up close picture of what the corset top design/material looks like. They had some really cute corset dresses too. I may have to go back and look at them for later! You could buy a corset to wear under your wedding dress, for a costume party or even just to spice up your relationship.
The back has a tie, so you can have it as loose or as tight as you want it. Now I'll give you my opinion on the corset that I received. I absolutely loved the design that I received (probably because I picked it out LOL). The fabric is breathable, I was so afraid that I'd feel like I couldn't breathe in it. That was not the case at all though. I like how the back of the corset is shorter in the back because it makes it way more comfortable than if it was the same length. All of the corsets on their website are very affordable too, I'd buy another one from this company if I feel like I wanted another design. I also like how there is a design for everybody, there was so much to choose from!
It also came with a g-string that matched the corset. Now for what I didn't like about the corset. The size chart wasn't exactly right for my body type. Based on my waist size, they suggested a 3XL. When I tried it on though, it was definitely too big. I probably could have gone with a 2XL and been fine or even an XL. I had the tie on the back as tight as it would go and it still fell down a little. I did receive a note with my corset that said their size chart comes with a 90% correct rate, so I guess that I was just that 10% that it was wrong for. They said that I could always exchange it for a different size if I need to! I also didn't like the g-string that came with it. The g-string was made with the same fabric as the corset. If you've ever worn a corset then you'd know they are a little stiff because they keep your posture up and straight. That's how the panties felt, they were stiff and definitely did not look sexy on me. They were big on me too though because they were the same size as the corset.

Overall, I still think that it is a great product and so much fun! I will probably exchange it for a different size but I still really liked it. I'm so glad that I got this design!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
