Birchbox April 2013 Review
Hey Everybody!
I just changed up the layout to my blog and I hope that you all like it :) I put a little poll on the left side of my blog. So if you guys could let me know what you think I'd be so happy! Also, I made a Facebook page for my blog, the link is on the side at the top. So if you want to like it then I'd be super happy! Thanks everybody :)
So I am probably the slowest Blogger ever, but I am finally catching up with all of my subscription boxes from last month. I will catch up though, I promise! More than likely I'll be all caught up this week, maybe early next week :) Anyways, I got my very first Birchbox! Most people get hooked on subscription boxes through their first Birchbox, I've noticed. I was a little bit weird that way though and didn't get a Birchbox until after I was hooked onto subscription boxes. For those of you who aren't familiar with Birchbox; "Birchbox is the best way to discover new grooming, beauty and lifestyle products. Sample top products from high-end brands, get expert advice, buy new favorites and earn points with every purchase."
Cost: $10/month
Value: $1.41
I never used to be a tea person, but once I started to get subscription boxes I started to drink it a lot more. I've had all of these flavors before and I already know that they all taste good. For some reason, I like hot tea a lot better than cold tea. I feel like it's the other way around for most people.
Value: $9.99
I signed up for this almost immediately! I haven't signed up for magazines in so long, I can't even remember the last time that I read a magazine for enjoyment. It looks like a good magazine to me though! Does anybody else receive this and enjoy it?
Value: $3.46
I am pretty much in love with this color. One of my favorite colors is a light pink and as soon as I saw this in my box I was immediately hooked. It is a color changing polish though so that was really exciting too. It looks like it turns into a magenta purple color. Purple isn't really my color but I still love this polish!
Value: $2
According to the bottle, this is a blueberry scented shave cream that is supposed to moisturize your legs while you shave. I did end up using it last night and I wasn't too impressed. The smell was good but the shaving cream didn't really spread very well on my legs. I felt like I had to use more of it than my regular shaving cream. I will give it one good thing though, my legs definitely feel moisturized and smooth today.
Value: $3.01
This tiny little bottle has so many good reviews on it! I've never used Supergoop! before but I have heard of it and they say that it is really good. According to the product details, it is supposed to make your skin younger in just 4 weeks. You apply it just underneath of your eyes and it reduces fine lines, puffiness and wrinkles. I'll have to try out the 4 week challenge for this and see how it holds up.
Value: $2.50
I am always searching for new shampoo and conditioner to try out. This type is supposed to strengthen and protect my hair without damaging it. Hopefully it works because I could used a little change in my daily hair routine!
Total Value of the Box: $22.37
This box was definitely worth the $10 that I paid for it! I can't wait to put on that pink nail polish and try out the shampoo. I am very impressed with my first Birchbox.

I like this layout a lot better! And I love the color changing nailpolish!
