Birchbox December 2013 Review + Giveaway!

One of my favorite things about December is all of the holiday themed subscription boxes! I love this Birchbox holiday box! It's too cute. If you aren't familiar with 

Birchbox, it's a monthly beauty subscription box for women. If you're new to the whole subscription box thing, I would highly recommend Birchbox, it's the mother of all subscription boxes!

Emily's Fortune Cookies ($1)

I received one of these a while back, I just can't remember which subscription box it was! These are so, so delicious though. It's a dark chocolate covered fortune cookie! Of course I already ate it as soon as I saw it in my box. I have nothing bad to say about these, they're delicious. 


Hair Rules Conditioner ($5.70)

I've never used this brand before. I like that the sample is pretty good sized though. I have to use quite a bit of conditioner on my hair because it's so long. I'm guessing that I'll get 2-3 washes with this bottle!


Botanic Bath Infusions ($5.60)

Who doesn't love taking a relaxing bath every once in a while? I know that there are days that I just need a relaxing bath to rejuvenate me, these salts smell amazing!


The design on this month's box is too cute! I love it when they change the design on their inside boxes. 


Borghese Mascara ($5)

I've never used this brand of mascara before. Have any of you guys? What did you think of it? 


Willa Cleansing Cloths ($2.90)

I use cleansing cloths almost every night. These have some really good online reviews so I know these will definitely get used!


Total Value: $20.20

I always love my Birchbox! They always send items that are worth way more than what I paid, every month has been a great Birchbox month for me.

    I've received the Botanic Bath Infusions in another box before and they were heavenly. This box looks fabulous!

Diamond Candles vs Prize Candles

This week I'm trying a different type of post! Since I love subscription boxes, that means that I love surprises. So, of course I would love to try out surprise candles! I wanted to see which type of ring candle was better,  Diamond Candle  or  Prize Candle .  I got both candles in 2 different scents,  Prize Candle  was Blue Cypress and  Diamond Candle  was Be Mine (smells like wild berries, amber and roses). Each of the candles cost $25 a piece. Although,  Prize Candle  offers $10 your first purchase and  Diamond Candle  offers free shipping on orders $45 or more.  Inside both companies candles, there is a ring worth $10-$5,000.  First, the shipping. I ordered both candles the same night, within 15 minutes of each other.  Prize Candle  came 2 days before  Diamond Candle  did.
